Intellog News New and noteworthy at Intellog.  The best feed to which to subscribe regarding announcements of general interest regarding product offerings and updates, significant changes to the organization or anything else of general interest.

ST1 An easy way to get a daily update on new Alberta petroleum well licenses. As described on the  ERCB website, the ST1 "includes well name and identifier, licence number, coordinates, field, mineral rights, drilling operation, ground elevation, licensee, estimated total depth, terminating zone, well purpose, Lahee classification, and well type substance."  This feed does not add or remove any data to/from the ST1, but rather, provides easy access to the reports in the RSS feed format.

ST49 Similar to the ST1, above, this is the easy way to get a daily update on drilling activity in Alberta.  As described on the ERCB website, the ST49 includes;  "spud dat[e], well name, licence number, unique identifier, and drilling contractor."  This feed not not add or remove anything from the report, but rather, provides easy access in the RSS feed format.

The Intellog Blog The daily journal of Intellog activities.  Posts are broken into two main categories; The Developers Journal, which are the day-to-day notes of the development 'team' working on Intellog products and services.  Business Development provides information about the implementation of Intellog's business plan, and is intended primarily for a non-technical audience.  For existentialists, there is even an Uncategorized category for those things that defy categorization by any other means.

The Intellog Blog - Comments A separate feed containing comments posted in response to posts to The Intellog Blog.  This feed is useful for anyone who has posted a comment and would like to keep track of any responses received.

For those who aren't entirely sure as to what an RSS feed means, there's a pretty good overview in a four minute YouTube video entitled RSS in Plain English.  A brief description on how to use good old Internet Explorer as a feed reader can be found at butzi.ca/tech.  If you need still need help subscribing to any of the feeds above, please contact us.
